Pamela A. Garrett, Founder and President
Pamela Garrett founded Garrett Consulting Group in 1998. Prior to that, she served eight years as the technical support manager for the Payment Remittance Operations at BellSouth, which processed over 12 million payments per month. At BellSouth, Pamela was involved in the consolidation of nine payment centers and the upgrade from read and key to imaging technology. She supported two sites as the MSSQL DBA and hardware/software troubleshooter. Pamela began her career at BellSouth as a programmer and project manager in the Cash/Billing group of the IT department. Pamela has a BA in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Winthrop University and a MBA from Georgia State University. Pamela has published several articles on payment remittance and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Billy W. Garrett, Senior Consultant
Billy joined Garrett Consulting Group in 2010. His wealth of experience with financial analysis, marketing, project management, technology, and engineering have been a tremendous asset for our clients. Prior to that, Billy worked for Western Electric, Vectrix, NCR, and Rambus. Initially a design engineer, he designed products including graphics systems for PCs, a UNIX server, several custom chips, and early X-terminals before moving into engineering management. There he led a team of over 30 engineers in the development of several POS terminals and served on the system architecture board at NCR. At Rambus, Billy leveraged his technical knowledge and systems expertise to help develop and market several generations of high-speed memory to companies like Intel, Sony, Nintendo, and many others. Since starting with Garrett Consulting Group, he has worked on numerous lockbox upgrades and has designed a lockbox tracking spreadsheet with macros for a large government entity. Billy has a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MBA, both from the University of South Carolina. He holds over 30 patents and has numerous publications.
